Chapter 118: After Party!
"Oh, Good Morning, Elfina." Draco flashed out his smile once again and handed her the cup.
Elfina, looking at how he was still so kind even after what happened, smiled sweetly.
\'See! I was right! He\'s kind.\' she thought internally, speaking to someone who knew and felt what was going on.
"Good Morning, Draco. I hope you woke up well." she replied.
Draco, who didn\'t sleep as he didn\'t need it and would only stay asleep for months, smiled.
"I did. How are you feeling?" he asked.
"Umm?" She raised an eyebrow and then, after remembering what happened, she blushed profusely.
"I\'m... Fine. I\'m a Transcendent too, after all." she replied.
"Good." Draco smiled.
Elfina then tried to get up to drink her coffee but almost fell.
She blushed once more as Draco chuckled.
"Be careful." he said.
"Mhm," she replied.
"What time is it?" she asked, but she wasn\'t talking to Draco as time passed differently in the Prison so the way time was counted was by seeing how much time there was left until an event, work, or something like that.
In Elfina\'s case: "1 Hour till your shift." The bracelet replied.
"How? No, wait! I will be late! I have to go!" Elfina\'s reaction to how much was left for her shift to begin was mixed.
First, it was because she knew very well that the time she spent with Draco in this hotel was definitely not in hours, but in days!
She was too cloud-minded to think at the time and just thought in her mind that it was worth it and that she didn\'t need to think about it.
and now that she woke up she just checked the time out of habit, but, didn\'t actually believe she hadn\'t been kicked out by now.
"Don\'t worry, I\'m going to the guild too, so I can take you with me." Draco reassured her.
"Thank you, Draco." Elfina sighed.
"But..." She wanted to talk but couldn\'t say anything and instead just blushed.
"hmm?" Draco tilted his head, acting confused while clearly knowing what she wanted to say;
"How is that we only... You know!" Elfina couldn\'t look into Draco\'s eyes so she just threw her words in the hope that he wouldn\'t make her say it.
"I don\'t. Please explain." Draco unconsciously smiled, as he liked to tease her.
"Mhmmm, Draco! Stop teasing me!" Elfina pouted her cheeks cutely as she looked at Draco, forgetting her earlier embarrassment.
"Hahaha. Alright, Alright. You see, I used Time to slow down time so you wouldn\'t have to worry about your work." he said.
Elfina didn\'t know what to choose from: surprised, happy, thankful, or mad in love. So, she chose the last option.
"Thank you, Draco. Really!" she said in gratitude.
"Don\'t mention it. It\'s the least I can do." he replied, dismissing her words as if it were nothing.
But Elfina didn\'t back down.
"No, you don\'t know how much it means to me. Don\'t say that." she retorted.
"Alright, Alright. It\'s no problem." Draco replied.
"Shall we go?" He added.
"Mhm. Wait for me to prepare myself." She nodded and replied, but then she remembered that she just got out of bed and blushed profusely.
Draco chuckled and turned his back.
Elfina ran to the shower, and Draco changed his clothes into a black chemise and pants, looking like a young, handsome CEO.
By the time Elfina came out, only 30 remained, but it was far enough since they were moving with the drone.
Elfina looked at Draco\'s outfit and was once again surprised at how hot he looked, but, before she could praise him, Draco did.
"Oho, I have to say, you look gorgeous in that outfit." he said.
Elfina was wearing a black dress that brought out her proportions almost perfectly, and when she stood side by side with Draco, they looked like a couple sent right down from heaven.
"Thank you! You also look very Ho- Ehhem, Handsome in that outfit." Elfina corrected herself and smiled.
Draco smiled sweetly at her words.
"That\'s so sweet of you! Alright, shall we move?" He asked.
"Mhm." and the both of them went down to the street to find Dreadful waiting for them and then they took the road back to the guild.
While on the road Elfina couldn\'t hold back her curiosity and asked.
"I didn\'t know you had an Affinity with Time. that\'s so amazing! how did you not get accepted to the Celestial Academy?"
"Have you heard of the Anomaly?" he asked.
"Oh yeah the Emperor of the Human Continent, I\'ve heard of him many times before." Elfina replied, slightly confused at why Draco would bring him into this conversation.
"Well, You see. He\'s my friend. He and I were able to find a Banished\'s Ruin and after successfully killing all the Filthy there I\'ve managed to gain the Time Affinity while he gained another affinity." Draco lied.
Elfina was shocked to the core. She never would have thought that Draco had such a connection to a famous Emperor such as the Anomaly. that guy even had connections with the founder of the Celestial Academy!
"Wow! You continue to amaze me by the second, Draco!" Truthfully, even if Elfina wanted to wholeheartedly believe in Draco but something inside of her didn\'t want to believe but she didn\'t show it and kept it in the back of her mind not letting Draco notice it.
Soon after they reached their destination.
but, Before they left Draco caught her and said.
"Give me your contacts."
Elfina, slightly caught off guard by Draco\'s demand, stood silent for a few seconds before she bumped her bracelet with his, and a *Ding* was heard before they were notified that their contacts were added to their bracelets.
Draco then proceeded to command the bracelet to send her the location of his estate and give her permission to enter.
"Alright, when you finish your shift, come here. A drone will be waiting for you." He said.
Elfina stood surprised for a few seconds in an attempt to understand what Draco just said.
Once she regained her composure, she blushed and replied with a "Mhm."
Then the two left to enter the guild, one as a staff and the other as an adventurer.
