Chapter 292: Above Average In Strength And…
"These \'experimentations\' conducted by the \'insane monsterkin scientists\' are getting extremely intriguing."
He noticed that the distance that the \'hybrids\' traveled increased by quite a large margin with each iteration that followed.
Although such increases weren\'t enough to allow their entire bodies to make it all the way outside the \'Starry Seaboard\', there were still improvements nonetheless.
And such a thing surprised him quite a lot, as after all this time of being exposed to these \'hybrids\' stat sheets, he assumed that it would be impossible for even a tenth of their massive bodies to make it outside of Asterion.
But, surprise, surprise, he was proven wrong.
And it was only through such a thing that he realized how hopeless he truly was in the thinking department.
"Am I, in actuality, unbelievably stupid?" He muttered, followed by a tired sigh escaping his mouth.
|Yes, you are! You may be above average in strength and|
Boundless started to answer his \'question\' before her gaze traveled to his pelvis area.
"??" \'Why is she looking at my groin?\'
|You are also above average down there. But other than that, you are completely hopeless|
She turned her head away with a rosy blush on her face before she resumed her sightseeing of the \'Whaliceros Enclosure\'.
...
\'This girl is seriously something else.\'
Azmond didn\'t know whether he should become angry or pleased at such a comment.
But in the end, he simply ignored the matter altogether and instead focused his attention on the katana strapped to his back.
"Are you doing okay, little buddy?" He asked with a concerned tone.
BZZT!
His black and red katana vibrated a little, seemingly voicing its concerns.
"I see," he began with a contemplative expression.
"You\'re hungry, I know, but we still aren\'t strong enough to compete with whatever is happening behind the scenes." He ended with a soft sigh.
Azmond, and subsequently Emu, had been getting exponentially stronger during the last few months of \'sight-seeing\'.
That was especially the case after Azmond went on a spamming spree with the \'Add organism to your Non-Main Party Member List\'.
The number of monsterkins deemed \'innocent enough\' added to his \'Non-Main Party Member List\' surpassed hundreds of millions!
He had practically forcefully acquired the \'manual labor\' of every single monsterkin he laid his eyes on.
And it was due to such \'assistance\' from all the \'kind souls\' in the Luminous Grounds that he was able to break through to the Peak Stages of the Late Quantum Golden Core Formation Realm!
Now, the question was, how were they getting stronger even with the minimal \'Monster clean up\' they did?
Even though their \'monster clean up\', particularly the \'clean up\' done by the \'Vigilante Emu\', was especially lucrative, that wasn\'t what allowed them to reach the Half-Step Tribulation Transcendence Realm in strength.
It was instead the monsterkin that were \'contracted\' under Azmond\'s \'Non-Main Party Member List\' that helped them grow so much in strength.
There were also the Primordial Yin Impripts that constantly transmitted refined cultivation base into Azmond\'s \'Core\'.
And the gains from such a thing shouldn\'t be underestimated, especially after all the \'heated activities\' that Boundless and Azmond had \'participated\' in while Calista was sleeping in a separate room.
However, such gains were really only focused on Azmond, while Emu contributed and received no such boons from neither the experience obtained from Azmond\'s \'Non-Party Members\', nor the strength gained from leveling up the \'Dual Cultivation\' function, and subsequently the cultivation received from his Primordial Yin Impripts.
So then it came down to why Emu also achieved a level of strength well into the Half-Step Tribulation Transcendence Realm.
Emu\'s increase in strength was really only attributed to one thingthat \'thing\' being the time that Emu and Azmond had encountered a Half-Step Tribulation Transcendence Realm Beast rampaging through the seventh step of the Luminous Grounds.
The Half-Step Tribulation Transcendence Realm Beast was on a \'rampage\' eerily similar to the time that the Pinkosaurus Maximus had done on the second step.
Nonetheless, both Azmond and Emu dispatched of the Half-Step Tribulation Transcendence Realm in record time!
Following such a kill, Azmond let Emu go at the corpse as it was subsequently devoured!
Not long after that, Emu had achieved a strength that was firmly planted in the Half-Step Tribulation Transcendence Realm!
"We don\'t have much longer until we make it to the Tribulation Transcendence Realm in power," Azmond said.
He spoke such blatant words of complete confidence as he reassured his Emu of the devouring fest that was to come.
"Mhmu! Mhmu!"
It appeared like Emu was more than happy over hearing such great news spoken by him!
His katana started to vibrate as it reaffirmed its elation at the thought of devouring all the monsters!
One would think that it looked kin dog suspicious that a large sword was shaking all over the place; however, to everyone around else on the overlook, it just looked like a silver foxkin with an oddly reactive katana.
"..."
It was because of such nondescript reactions that Azmond was reminded of something else he had on his mind.
That \'thing\' being that even in his \'disguise\' as \'Asher The High-Rank Monster King\', he couldn\'t escape the gawks and stares that were directed at him.
One of the reasons why that never changed, whether he was in his true form or in Silver Foxkin form, was because of Emu.
Another reason was because, no matter if he were a human or a silver foxkin, his appearance was considered extraordinary even among those of the same race.
Now, that wasn\'t to say that his silver foxkin form as \'Asher\' was on the same level as his \'God-like\' form as a human, but his looks while in silver foxkin mode were still far superior to anything that the common-folk among the monsters had ever seen.
Such a topic also brought up another matter that confused Azmond a little, that matter being...
\'Why has no one recognized me?\'
