Chapter 120: The Seven Servants of Sierra
This wasn\'t cruel, after all he was just giving back what she did to all those humans she transformed, and if torture was possible, he would gladly do it.
And so... Stark looked at Sierra as the space around her became to distort.
Then suddenly... [Crystal Transformation], one of her ultimate skills, took effect as it needed to charge.
The other one also needed to charge up, but it would take a much bigger amount of time.
And so...
"CRYSTAL TRANSFORMATION!" Sierra shouted, and her aura became much overwhelming, then...
Many crystals around the walls of the boss area began to shake.
~BRRRRRR~
It created a very annoying sound, but it ended after only five seconds since all the crystal immediately removed themselves from their spots in the wall, meaning that all around Stark and Sierra were hundreds upon hundreds of them.
\'...going to attack me with them?\' Stark thought, after all there was a chance coming in contact with those crystals was deadly as they were what made the arrows.
But no... it couldn\'t be it, otherwise she could have done that since the beginning.
Instead, hundreds upon hundreds of crystal shook again, then all began to fly toward Sierra.
It was a beautiful sight as each of them left a trail of white mist behind.
And so after all the crystals of the cave reached the boss... they began to merge with her skin.
\'No...\' Stark was wrong, \'They\'re not merging... they\'re... creating an upper layer of protection...?\'
Every crystal that reached Sierra\'s skin added something to that mystical layer, and it was like some sort of crystal armor was forming itself around Sierra.
And that was exactly what was happening, since when Stark finally decided to use [Perception]...
...
[Skill: Crystal Transformation]
[Description:] This exclusive skill allows Sierra to combine many crystal shards around her to create an armor that gives her protection against any attacks, note that hitting the armor doesn\'t infect you with the \'crystal mist\'.
[Note:] The armor has 100K HP, and it is impossible to hit Sierra until it is destroyed.
...
\'Yeah... Basically she gave herself an additional 100K HP,\' it wasn\'t that annoying since two good hits meant that the armor would be destroyed, but it also meant there was a chance Sierra could come back from this.
And by the time the crystal armor was finished... it was already shining, an ethereal aura around it.
It was completely white, and covered up Sierra completely, except for her head as her ocean eyes were still visible, although there was a crystal helmet on it.
"Feels better," Sierra smiled lightly, bold of her after getting beat up by the very human she underestimated.
But by the sheer aura around her... Stark knew that something was wrong.
"I\'m impressed," Sierra clapped her hands, "Very impressed, human, you\'ll make a fine slave, my OWN premium slave!" she laughed.
"..." Stark looked at her with a blank expression, and he took a step forward.
"Don\'t even think of taking another step in this direction if you don\'t want to have a bad time."
~STEP~
Stark didn\'t care and took two more, his expression not changing.
"You know," Sierra shrugged, "I realized that you only got angry when I talked about those transformed humans, and especially that pregnant woman, were they your companions?"
~STEP, STEP~
"Maybe if you accept to become one of my slaves, I\'ll let them go, you know?" she smiled, pointing her bow at Stark.
\'Liar...\' he had clearly read in the arrows\' description that people who are transformed cannot go back, and either way he wasn\'t playing to do that for some strangers.
~STEP, STEP, STEP~
Every step Stark took now left a burning mark on the cave ground.
~FWISH~
Sierra shot an arrow at Stark, but he just avoided it before returning to his original position.
"You just won\'t give up..." Sierra smiled, a malicious glint in her eyes indicating she was preparing something, "Well, let\'s see how well you do against \'THEM\'!"
And suddenly...
"PUPPET CONTROL!" the bow in her hand flew behind her and began to float while spinning, and on the other hand, Sierra lifted both of her arms up, a white electric aura coming out of each of her fingers.
~STEP, STEP~
Stark didn\'t stop though.
And so… as he kept walking, the electric aura coming out of Sierra hit the ground seven times in front of her, and…
~BOOM, BOOM, BOOM~
From the ground emerged seven figures, they were completely white, but in comparison to the [Victims of Sierra], it was still possible to distinguish that they were human.
They were the so-called [Servants of Sierra], basically, the seven classifiers that had attempted to beat this rift but all failed.
"As I said before…" Sierra clapped her hands, and the seven figures began to walk toward Stark like zombies, "It is possible to save them, they are still alive, we wouldn\'t want to kill them, would we?"
Did she really think this bluff would work against Stark?
Some of the [Servants of Sierra] were now right in front of Stark, and they stopped, looking at him with their black eyes, they were much scarier than the [Victims] since they still had human features.
…
[Name: Servant of Sierra]
[Level: 80]
[HP: 30000]
[Strength: 1]
[Stamina: 1]
[Speed: 1]
[Defense: 1]
[Skills: Memories, Puppet, Despair…]
…
Other than their improved HP and two additional skills, they were just like the [Victims of Sierra], mere puppets controlled by the boss.
They couldn\'t do any damage, and any hit would kill them.
And so as all of them stopped before Stark, all he could see in their eyes was the infinite despair of being helpless against this entity.
\'Look at him… stopping once he sees them… just as I knew, humans are so easy to manipulate…\' Sierra giggled, the malicious grin on her face growing.
But…
"K-Kill… us…" an echo escaped the servants\' mouths as they all looked at Stark, their eyes on the verge of tears yet unable to do so.
"Ok," Stark nodded, this was the only mercy he could give them.
The [Servant of Sierra] before Stark was the pregnant woman Sierra had mentioned beforehand, and so…
~PUNCH~
Stark punched her face as lightly as he could.
"-49472!" it still did incredible damage because of her 1 defense stat, and she immediately vanished.
"Huh?" Sierra was shocked that Stark actually had the guts to kill another human, no matter how transformed it was.
She had used this strategy several times against other people, using their loved ones as bait to transform them too.
"Let\'s get this over with," Stark advanced, he was tired of her dirty tricks, and if killing her was the sole solution to free all the creatures she transformed, then he wanted to do it fast.
