Chapter 89: Appraising New Equipment
"Did you see the Secret Rift conquest?" one classifier told his friend.
"Yeah! It was insane, I wish I was there to meet that guy," his friend replied.
"I mean, fucking hell, he came back from the dead," another classifier spoke while showing his phone to his friends, and all of them gasped in shock after a minute.
\'Hm…\' Stark was skeptical about all of this: wherever he went, he could hear people talk about the secret rift conquest from yesterday.
And the main topic of discussion was… as guessed, the bunny-masked man.
The videos and highlights of all his fights had spread throughout the internet, not only inside Fellarburg, but through the entire world.
Many people called him \'a powerful classifier that hides as if he is weak\', and others preferred to call him a \'prodigy with immense talent\'.
But what all the organizations looked at was the fight with Judicator, and the fact that he had been cut in half by the boss, yet somehow came back to life to get revenge, was the most interesting part of all.
Stark reached the \'Classifiers Trading Association\', but even on the massive screen at their entrance was played the replay of him fighting Judicator.
\'Can\'t escape, but what can I say, I\'m just him,\' he shrugged and entered the massive building.
"I wish to sell some items," he told a receptionist who approached him as soon as he entered, and just like the previous times, he was guided toward a room.
And his appraiser… was that white-haired woman with a cigarette in her mouth again.
"Oh, it\'s you again," she smiled, letting out a trail of smoke from her mouth, "Sit down and let\'s see what you got for us again!"
She was extremely friendly, and one of the best appraisers in the association, but…
"Yo, can I get another appraiser?" Stark tried to talk to the receptionist as she was about to close the door, "I don\'t want to be in a room full of smoke-"
But the receptionist didn\'t care and closed the door on him.
":("
"Sit down… BOY!" the white-haired woman had a cold smile on her face, not liking the fact he had refused her services.
"Sigh…" he agreed as he just wanted to get this done, trying to ignore the smoke, "But I would much rather you didn\'t smoke in front of customers."
"As long as it\'s allowed by the rules, then can\'t do anything about it kiddo," she shrugged, "Show me those items!"
In their room was a big TV that also showed his fight with Judicator.
\'…\' Stark looked at the screen for a few seconds, it was a strange feeling to know the entire world was looking at you, yet didn\'t know you were the one who did all of that.
"Interested in that classifier too, huh?" the woman smiled, "He is fascinating, can\'t deny it!"
"…" Stark looked back at her and pulled out the five equipment pieces he didn\'t need as he couldn\'t use them, placing on the table five shiny-looking items that immediately grabbed the woman\'s interest, "Oh, and by the way, I\'m not interested in that since it\'s me."
Stark smiled as he said those words, a nonchalant expression on his face.
"Hm~" the woman raised her eyebrow, "Sure, let\'s just get your appraisal going, then," she didn\'t believe him, but Stark didn\'t care enough to prove that it was him.
After a few minutes, the woman\'s eyes widened as she inspected all the items.
And the first thing she instinctively did after that was look at the screen, where Stark was fighting the angel.
Eventually, she shook her head and gave Stark his items, "These items are incredible, let me tell you the amount we are willing to give for each…"
…
[Equipment:] The Minotaur\'s Helmet
[Tier:] Rare
[Quality:] Normal
[Price:] 470,000 rher coins
…
"This is a rather powerful helmet, many warriors will jump on the opportunity to buy it, the berserk state is a very nice perk," the white-haired woman added as commentary.
Stark almost choked when hearing the amount: was it always this easy to earn money?
He could probably already have a wife and a dozen kids with this amount! (if anybody was willing that is...)
But of course, this wasn\'t all the items, so he just sat down and waited.
…
[Equipment:] Obsidian Gauntlets
[Tier:] Uncommon
[Quality:] Normal
[Price:] 248,000 rher coins
…
[Equipment:] Obsidian Golem\'s Ring
[Tier:] Rare

…
While reaching this item, the white-haired appraiser didn\'t seem that surprised, although she couldn\'t deny that these were good items.
But upon looking at the mask and staff… she knew that something was up.
She couldn\'t read the name of the items, so the trading association would usually name them themselves to something that makes sense considering their perks and appearance.
But this mask… she couldn\'t help but look at Judicator\'s face and notice that they look extremely similar.
"I\'m not interested in that since it\'s me," she remembered that boy\'s words, and looked at him, he had a blank expression on his face.
…
[Equipment:] The Fallen Angel\'s Mask

…
[Equipment:] Judicator\'s Staff

…
Selling all these items would mean that Stark would be getting around 2.63 million rher coins.
\'Nice!\' he smiled and began to get up from the couch he had been sitting on.
But…
"Where did you get these items?" the woman suddenly spoke, a powerful and chilly aura surrounding her body.
"…" Stark saw in her eyes that she wasn\'t kidding, and so he smiled, "I already told you once, didn\'t I?"
\'Perception!\' he decided to use his skill on her as he sensed that her power was way too much for a mere appraiser.
And he was right.
…
[Name: Violette Winkson]

[Class: Magus]
[HP: 89000]
[Strength: 4716]

She was extremely powerful, even more than the people inside the Secret Rift, and yet… here she was… standing before Stark.
"Who… are… you?" she tilted her head.
"You can call me Stark, ma\'am, I need to go now," Stark immediately headed toward the door, and she didn\'t stop him at all, instead just glaring at the boy with her aura out.
"Goodbye, customer," she gave him a smile that sent a shiver down his spine.
But after a few instants, he immediately recovered and returned the smile.
"See you later, Violette."
He had the feeling she wasn\'t just an appraiser, and that they would meet again soon.
