Chapter 376: Hell Training Plans 2

Chapter 376: Hell Training Plans 2

• Shadow control (Lvl 39)

• Hypnosis (Lvl 39)

• Gravity (Lvl 39)

• Agility (Lvl 39)

• Substitute (Lvl 49)

Axel believed that \'Shadow control\' could be used in a lot of ways than just binding a Pokemon. \'Hypnosis\' would be very helpful in tight situations. \'Gravity\' and \'Agility\' were psychic type moves. He believed that its hidden power mastery would rise if both of the moves leveled up to 40, just like Beedrill.

As of right now, Shedinja could use 3 substitutes. However, all of them were present to take hits for Shedinja as it would switch with them using \'Switch\'. It was just for defensive purposes.

However, what if it could also be used to attack? That would rapidly increase the fighting powers of Shedinja. He didn\'t know if it was possible, but he wanted Shedinja to give it a try. If Shedinja could do this, he might consider using it against Kent.

###

Nidorino. His first Pokemon. Axel had to admit that Nidorino had been neglected a lot. Make no mistake, Nidorino was one of the most powerful Pokemon in his team. However, it was his first Pokemon, so shouldn\'t it be the strongest?

There were a lot of problems with Nidorino.

First of all, it had low mastery over its ability and hidden ability. As of right now, its ability \'Poison point\' was only 80% mastered. It might seem like a lot, but it was already a pseudo-king rank Pokemon going to be a King rank Pokemon.

It had learned a range of moves, but the mastery on each of them was not so high. Only 2 of its moves have leveled up to 40, \'Venom drench\', and \'Earthquake\'. He looked at its stats.

---

Most of its powerful moves and all of its new moves were poison type. That gave a very huge disadvantage to it. If a Pokemon was immune to poison type, what would it do?

It could do nothing. It needed to have some back-up and other plans of attack.

Axel also wanted it to evolve as fast as he could. But the problem was moonstone. Moonstone could only be found in one place, Mt. Moon.

There was a history that a meteorite fell from the sky and that meteorite was a moonstone. Axel felt that the story was bogus. Mew had specifically said that this world was an enclosed world. So, how could a meteorite fall from the sky?

Mt. Moon was a dangerous place. Axel needed to have a team of king rank Pokemons if he wanted to come back alive. The Pokemons out there were mysterious, and it had not even been fully explored. Nobody knew about moonstone at the moment except for Axel.

Axel wanted Nidorino to evolve before it challenged king rank. So, what could he do? He could ask the explorer team for help. Andrew would be delighted to help him, but he was responsible for his team. So, Axel felt that he would not have time.

He could also ask Koga, Morgan, Blue, or even Red, or even Kent. But they would be busy and wouldn\'t entertain the thought of a trainer who wanted to explore Mt. Moon because the trainer had a feeling that something was going on here.

He could not openly say that Nidorino could evolve with it cause moonstone had not even been discovered. How was he going to talk about moonstone when he had not even seen it?

Then, just like a light in the darkness, an idea came, and he dialed the number.

Tring.. Tring.. Tring.. Tring...

"Hello Axel. Fancy hearing from you right now. I heard that you lost against Kent."

"Does news travel that fast?"

"Of course, it does. So, why have you called? I am sorry that you but I am quite busy right now."

"I want the help of you and the Venu family to help me explore Mt. Moon."

"Mt. Moon huh. Isn\'t that the cave that is between Kanto and Johto region?"

"Yes, it is."

"Alright, when do you want to go?"

"Really? You accepted it very fast," said Axel.

"Axel, you are also a part of the family. If you want to go there, then of course, we would go."

"Thank Angela. I felt that since you are the leader, you would be busy."

"Do you need me personally?"

"Not specifically, I would need a team of King rank and pseudo-champion rank Pokemons. However, if you want to come, you are welcome. The cave is unexplored till date. I don\'t want to risk it."

"I would think about it. When would we be going?"

"After a month, when I beat Kent."

"Oho, you are confident."

"Yes, I am. I will work hard for a month and beat Kent in his gym."

"Happy training then. I have some work to do, so bye," said Angela and cut off her phone.

Axel had a big smile on his face. He mentally patted his back for a job well done.

Axel had one confusion though. Nidorino would have ground typing when it evolves to Nidoking. However, it didn\'t have that access when it was Nidorino. So, it had no option to have ground core mastery while it was Nidorino.

That seemed like a huge disadvantage for a Pokemon that doesn\'t normally evolve. What if he wanted it to have a ground core, but the evolution process was complicated like Nidorino\'s case?

---

Ding!

The problem has been registered.

Ding!

Nidorino could have another core after it evolves to Nidoking with no risks.

---

"WHAT!!!! Really? Doesn\'t that mean that Steelix could also have steel core with no risks?"

---

Ding!

No, a Pokemon could have multiple cores with zero risks if it fulfills the following conditions:

• It didn\'t have natural evolution.

• It already had a core before its final evolution.

• It had already ranked up to pseudo-king rank before its final evolution.

Nidorino fulfills these conditions, but Steelix doesn\'t. It had first evolved into Steelix and then had a core mastery of ground type.

---

The system was never wrong in these types of things. So if Nidorino could have 2 cores, won\'t it be extremely powerful?

That was a huge thing. This thing was not discovered in real life. No one knew about it except for him. He would get a huge competitive advantage due to this.

"I have a question about the third condition. Why pseudo-king rank and not elemental rank?" asked Axel.

---

Ding!

When a Pokemon ranks up to pseudo-king rank, it would have greater mastery of its cores and could also manipulate and use it in a more effective manner than elemental rank Pokemons. That is why the risk is 0%.

---

"That means Mamoswine could not have a second core, huh?"

He started to regret it now. If he had evolved it just before reaching Pseudo-king rank. If he knew about this before, he would not have focused so much of its energy on \'Ancient power\'.

Every Pokemon could have multiple cores inside their body. But there was a huge risk associated with it. If the Pokemon could not perfectly separate and manipulate those cores, it would die a horrible death. That was why there were no wild Pokemons with multiple cores, and the trainers were also not stupid to do that to their Pokemons.

###

Coming back to Nidoirno.

"Nidorino, let me ask you one thing. Do you want to get stronger?" asked Axel.

"NIDO!!!" it roared wildly.

"Good. You are my first official Pokemon. I don\'t want you falling behind. So, your training would be extra harsh. Are you ready?"

"NIDOOO!!!"

It didn\'t care if the training was extra harsh. It just wanted to get stronger. Getting stronger was something every Pokemon felt.

"Ok. First, I have some good news for you. After this gym battle is over, we would go to Mt. moon for your evolution."

"NIDO.. NIDOOO," it shouted in excitement.

"Next comes your training. First of all, I want you to level up \'Substitute\', \'Spinning poison\', \'Poison spread\', and \'Poison damage transfer\' to 40.

Next, I want you to have a new move which is a ground type. You will work with Steelix on this.

You would also learn \'Fissure\', \'Sandstorm\', and \'Mud bomb\'," said Axel.

It would certainly have ground type cores, so it would be better if it could learn some ground type moves.

Axel had now made training plans for all his Pokemon. Now, it was time for him to make his own training plans.
