Chapter 59: Wood Element (Edited)

Chapter 59: Wood Element (Edited)

But his second favorite would always be Bulbasaur. And the best place to catch it would be here, in the Venu family. Dreaming about having Bulbasaur, Axel went to meet with the group.

Today, the Crazies have decided to meet early at 5:30 a.m. The 3 brothers were never early birds but seeing Axel getting stronger right in front of their eyes, they decided to change their routine. However, they arrived late at 6 p.m.

"I want to say something before we start. I also want to get a Bulbasaur.", announced Axel in a loud voice.

"That\'s the way to go.", remarked K patting his shoulders.

But the other 2 were surprised.

"Now you also want a Bulbasaur, do you know how hard it is to get one? No wonder they call us Crazies.", said A.

"Ok, guys calm down. Now tell me, Axel, why do you also want a Bulbasaur?", said B.

Today he seemed to be the mature one.

"Hearing all those things from K yesterday made me realize that it would be awesome to have one. The only hurdle is it is very difficult to get it. I think if we try our best, we could get it".

A and B sighed shaking their head. They knew that Axel was a stubborn one. Last week, Axel had risked his life just to get a couple of resources. Of course, they were also not mellow.

"Since you have decided to get one, let me tell you how to get it.", said B.

Usually, A would be the one explaining things to Axel.

\'Did he eat a maturity pill today?\', thought Axel.

"Do I have to collect more points?"

"No, there is no need for points when it comes to catching a Bulbasaur. There are 3 conditions that you would need to fulfill:

1. You would have to be sufficiently powerful to protect it in the wild. In other words, you must have at least 1 rare-ranked Pokemon at your disposal.

2. You must get approval from the Champion ranked Venusaur, parents of Bulbasaur, and the Bulbasaur itself. This is not that difficult. The Champion ranked Venusaur is the leader\'s Pokemon. So, if you could convince the leader, then it\'s in the bag. Finding out the parents of Bulbasaur who would approve would not be difficult and the easiest is to convince Bulbasaur.

3. And lastly, the most difficult one. You must have unlocked your Aura or psychic ability. This is due to the fact that in most cases a trainer who had awakened an aura could be powerful in the latter stages. Don\'t get me wrong, a trainer without having an Aura could be very powerful too."

"So, the aura is the most difficult condition huh.", mumbled Axel thinking about the matter.

"It is not only that. Even if a trainer awakened his Aura it would be in his 20s. This will be the stage where a trainer would have varieties of powerful Pokemon at his disposal. So, it would be unlikely that he would want a Bulbasaur at that point."

Hearing all these conditions would make one disappointed or disheartened. But Axel, on the contrary, was beaming with excitement. He already had the Aura training book. He would most likely have a rare ranked Pokemon after 3 months. And coming to the approval part, he would leave that to fate.

He believed that \'if a person wants something with all their heart and dedicate their concentration in achieving it, even the heaven would work its ass off to make it come true\'. He must already have a rare ranked Pokemon and must unlock the aura as per the system\'s quest and Adam\'s bet. So he would just give his best.

\'If Pidgeot, a flying type Pokemon could use wind energy, why can\'t Bulbasaur use wood energy? If Venusaur could only be

50% as powerful as Hashirama Senju, then it would be one of the most powerful Pokemon in this world. Hehehe...\' Axel started dreaming again.

Hashirama Senju was a character of Naruto world. He was one of the most powerful characters and was known as the \'God of shinobi\'. And he also used the Wood element. A wood element may seem like a crappy element unlike fire and lightning, but if used well, it could be one of the most versatile elements.

###

Axel shared his Aura training book with the group and told K he would lend it to him after he finished reading it. K was ecstatic when he heard it. K had also decided to catch another Pokemon until he got Bulbasaur.

He had settled on Pidgey. He would need a flying-type Pokemon in the latter stages and Pidgey seemed to be the most suitable for him. He knew Pidgey could be very deadly as he had seen Adam\'s Pidgeot.

Apprehending this, the group decided to catch a Pidgey in the first half of the day. Axel decided to give K some help since he could ascertain the potential of Pokemon on a deeper level.

Unlike other Pokemons who had their own area, Pidgey was a common sight in the forest. Pidgey is a Pokemon that is not aggressive and is pretty docile. But not all of them were like that.

Before going on this mission, Axel had said to K that he would help him catch Pidgey. He also told the group that he had quite an insight into Pokemon\'s potential just by observing it. He said it was a trait of being an assistant researcher. The brothers believed him.

But the plan to spend only half a day on this mission had extended to the evening. There were a lot of Pidgey in the jungle. Some of them were guarded by their final evolution. But Axel was not satisfied with any of them.

Axel at least wanted purple [advanced] or brown [Monstrous] potential Pidgey. But till now, he had only found 5 Red [advanced] potential Pidgey. (A/N: please read the auxiliary volume if you are confused about potential ranks of Pokemon)

The group was getting tired of Axel\'s antics. But seeing such a serious face of Axel working hard for their brother, they kept quiet. Axel wanted K to have Pidgey with good potential. The brothers had done a lot for Axel. He just wanted to repay the favor.

It was now almost 6 p.m. The group had now decided to continue it tomorrow. They thought to give this mission 30 mins before packing back home. But after 5 minutes, they found another heard of Pidgey. When Axel checked their stats, he had a smile on his face.
