Chapter 408: - Freya is Clueless
"Several quests for acquiring Unique-grade classes have started to roll out to other players, Mr. Marco," the assistant reported.
"Just before we launch the Eternal Challenge, something like this happens," Marco responded thoughtfully. "It seems Broken\'s significant progress is about to be met with equally extraordinary feats from other top players."
The assistant nodded and added, "And, surprisingly, several of those top players are in close proximity to Broken, especially those who\'ve already obtained Unique-grade classes ahead of the rest."
Marco nodded. "What about the potential for the first Legendary-grade class? Any developments?"
The assistant continued, "Broken is clearly on the path to obtaining a Legendary-grade class with his Blacksmith class. However, it\'s no easy feat. He needs to craft two more Legendary- grade items, which won\'t be achievable in the near future."
"And what else?"
"Another player is also pursuing a Legendary-grade class. This one is from the top ranks in Immortal Legacy," the assistant said as the player\'s profile appeared on the screen.
"He\'s a Chinese player, highly skilled in swordsmanship. Despite not registering in the official rankings, he\'s explored most of the continents in Immortal Legacy."
"Has this player confirmed participation in the Eternal Challenge?" Marco asked.
"The Chinese government is pushing hard for him to join," the assistant replied.
Marco nodded slowly, considering the potential. "That will be good news for the future." He paused, then asked, "Any more urgent updates?"
"Yes, it\'s about the requirements to attain Divine Champion status," the assistant said. "The news has already spread widely, with various assumptions on how to take the title from someone. I believe this could stir up some chaos within the top guilds."
Marco nodded. "Keep a close watch on it. Make sure we get updates on anything that might significantly impact Immortal Legacy."
The assistant nodded, noting the seriousness in Marco\'s tone. This development could shake the balance of power among the game\'s most elite players, and the Golden Age needed to stay ahead of it.

"So, Charmelyn is Broken\'s ex from high school?"
Maylock asked after Freya shared the background of Charmelyn and Marlene, who had recently met Broken in real life. Freya, Goldrich, and Maylock were all in the same room, and this information had already been cleared by Broken to be discussed openly.
"Hahaha!" Maylock laughed. "My predictions are never wrong. I\'m such a genius."
"Can you try to stay cool, Maylock?" Elincia chimed in. "Let others praise you-it\'ll make you look even more impressive."
"Ha!" Maylock responded. "I don\'t need anyone\'s praise. I\'m confident in my brilliance already. Hahaha."
"The real question is..." Elincia continued, "What about Marlene\'s closeness to Broken?"
"Hah!" Maylock replied, sounding a bit disinterested. "Like I said, Marlene is smart, maybe even cunning."
"You should be careful when talking about Marlene, you know," Goldrich teased, chuckling. "Broken\'s getting pretty close to her now."
"Well, I\'m just giving my perspective," Maylock said, shrugging.
Elincia continued, "We all know Marlene is in Shadow Wolves, and her true intentions aren\'t exactly clear. But she seems to have smoothly gotten close to Broken."
"Well, she\'s definitely a smart girl," Goldrich chimed in with a sly grin. "Khi khi khi... I bet she\'s working hard to win over our boy\'s heart. And I\'m sure there are plenty of other women close to him too."
"Is that true, Freya?" Elincia asked, glancing over at her.
"I\'m not his babysitter. Why are you asking me?"
"Ah, sorry..." Elincia quickly apologized.
Maylock chimed in, "So, here\'s my take... We can say Marlene is someone who can\'t be controlled by anyone-that\'s the key point. She\'ll make decisions that benefit her the most. As long as Shadow Wolves aligns with her goals, that\'s where her focus will be." "Damn, are you basically saying she\'s not loyal?" Elincia asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Well, to put it bluntly, yeah, that\'s what I\'m saying," Maylock replied, pausing to take a deep breath. "Unless, of course, Broken somehow manages to win her over." Goldrich smirked. "That makes her a wild card-someone who can\'t be controlled by anyone."
The room fell into a brief silence, as they all considered the complexity of Broken\'s position and his connection with Marlene.
"So, is she safe?" Elincia pressed. "I mean, is it okay if Broken\'s getting too close to Marlene?"
"It depends on Broken... he\'s the key. And it\'s frustrating," Maylock replied, shooting a glance
at Freya. "This guy really takes everything in stride. Just force him to form a guild already, because I\'m switching to his."
"You traitor!" Elincia shouted, giving the chair Maylock was sitting on a hard kick.
"We\'re all going to join him. It\'s not betrayal-it\'s a smarter alliance. Hahaha."
Maylock stood up, stretching. "Now, let\'s get to hunting. We want more Divine Champions in our guild, right? I want to be one too. It\'s boring trying to work around my low-grade class."
Freya frowned. "So you\'re planning to hunt Divine Champions too?"
Elincia shrugged. "Every guild is doing it. We\'re just following the trend."
"Damn, you\'re all power-hungry, huh?" Freya responded with a smirk, shaking her head.

Leon was dressed neatly as he walked past the living room. Lily, eating in the kitchen, noticed and called out, "Bro, where are you going?" She carried her bowl over to him.
"Dinner and a movie," he said.
"Oh, with who?!"
Just then, the doorbell rang. Leon opened the door to reveal a girl with long, straight black hair, dressed fashionably with a designer bag. She glanced inside and smiled.
"Hi... I\'m Olivia," she said, waving at Lily.
"Hi... I\'m Lily." Lily paused, then her eyes widened. "Wait, you\'re Marlene from Shadow
Wolves, right?"
Olivia giggled, covering her mouth. "Shh, don\'t say it so loud. Yes... I\'m surprised you
recognized me."
"You\'re really popular with the guys in my class... they talk about you all the time," Lily said,
grinning.
"Oh, I\'m not too surprised," Olivia replied with a playful smile.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
Lily raised an eyebrow, clearly curious.
"Let me take your brother out, okay? For a date... you cool with that?" Olivia asked with a grin.
Lily glanced at Leon, her expression questioning. "Okay... I mean, I have no right to stop you
anyway."
"Thanks! Nice to meet you, Lily. Next time, let\'s hang out together, okay?"
"Uh... sure," Lily replied, still a bit unsure.
Olivia took Leon\'s arm, waving as they headed out. "Alright then, bye, Lily."
"Bye..." Lily waved back. Leon gave her a small wave before disappearing, and she watched as
the door closed behind them.
With a sigh, Lily rubbed her temples. Freya... does she not care about all these girls chasing after my brother? She has to remember they\'re childhood friends, right? Or am I the one who
needs to remind them?
But then again... Freya, Laura, Hazel, and Olivia?
"Are they all really going after Leon?" Lily muttered to herself. "Laura obviously still has
feelings for him. Hazel... I\'m not so sure about her. But this Olivia? Something about her
seems off..."
"And Freya... she\'s just too clueless..."
