Chapter 310: - Claiming the Trial Domain
"Level 200 Elemental Labyrinth Trial Domain. We need to take full advantage of this Trial Domain before anyone else discovers it."
"Don\'t worry," Broken reassured them. "We can keep this Trial Domain under wraps, at least until everyone in our alliance has had their turn. This is my private land, after all, so we have the authoritative control."
"Khi khi khi." Goldrich chuckled. "You\'ve really been flexing your authority lately, haven\'t you?"
Broken smiled at Goldrich\'s remark. "But if you\'re asking me for tips on how to solve the Trial Domain, I apologize. Unfortunately, I can\'t provide you with that information because-"
Broken knew he couldn\'t possibly reveal the numerous cheat skills he possessed, nor how he conquered the final challenge or obtained such substantial rewards.
"Don\'t worry," Maylock said reassuringly. "I know you have a lot of secrets. Plus, with all the gear you\'ve got, you\'re clearly more powerful than most. But yeah, if you don\'t mind, I\'d like to try the trial domain soon. I want to assess how tough this Trial Domain really is and maybe figure out the tricks you used to finish it."
Maylock then eyed the cape Broken was wearing. "That\'s a fine water cape, Broken," he remarked.
"Khi khi khi," Goldrich chuckled. "You\'re not thinking of attempting the water challenge, are you, Maylock? Especially since you have an affinity with the Wind element."
Maylock smiled. "Of course, I want to try the Water Challenge too. I\'m very curious to see how our champion solved it so quickly."
Broken nodded, though he had a slight concern. What if the rewards within the Trial Domain, specifically the three treasure chests, were only meant for the first challenger who claimed them? If so, Maylock might end up with nothing, even if he completed the water challenge.
This was especially concerning because Broken had already taken the rewards from two treasure chests and had destroyed one. But more than that, he wasn\'t entirely sure how it worked and decided to let Maylock find out for himself.
"There are three challenges," he explained. "First, there\'s a floor with traps. Second, a pool filled with lots of monsters. And finally, a monster battle with even more creatures. Good luck."
"Thanks."
Broken then turned to Toberry. "I\'m certain this place is teeming with valuable minerals," he suggested. "Why don\'t you bring some miners to start extraction?"
"Yeah, yeah!" Toberry replied cheerfully. "I\'m sure we can gain quite a bit from that. It\'s a great idea!"
"Okay then," Broken said with a smile.
He then shifted his attention to Ivana. "Are you planning to stay here?"
"Oh," Ivana answered. "I had originally intended to accompany the others to catch up with you, but it looks like you don\'t need our help." She chuckled softly. "So, I guess I\'ll just head back outside with the others after this."
"What about coming back with me?" Broken suggested.
"Yes... I would love that," she said with a smile.
Before Broken could leave, Maylock interrupted. "Broken! I have some interesting information about your six knights. I\'m confident you\'ll find it worthwhile. Let\'s meet up tomorrow so we can discuss it more."
Broken nodded slowly. "We can do it after we recruit more knights, maybe?"
"That sounds like a good idea," Maylock agreed.
Broken waved his hand in a farewell gesture. "Alright, I must be off," he said as he summoned Polly, who materialized and transformed into her battle form.
Broken swiftly mounted Polly, along with Ivana. Together, they galloped their way down the dark, winding cave, disappearing into the shadows.
Despite the dim light of the cave, Polly moved with remarkable agility and speed. Ivana comfortably wrapped her arms around Broken\'s waist as they rode.
"How did you manage to tackle such a high-level Trial Domain so quickly?" she asked. "Everyone was shocked by it; they truly admire you."
"Really?" Broken replied softly. "I think they\'re giving me too much credit."
Ivana laughed quietly at his words. "I think you need to open your heart a bit more to them."
"Is that so?"
"Yes. They\'re all good people, and I feel at ease around them."
"That\'s because you often share free food, Ivana, and you always see the positive in everyone."
"You do too, right?"
Broken fell silent, pondering her question. "I don\'t know," he finally answered softly.
After a few moments of silence, Ivana continued. "What kind of adventurous thing are you planning next, Broken?"
"Going to the Demons\' world," he said.
Ivana was visibly taken aback by his words. "In the near future? Do you know how? I\'ll come with you."
Broken shook his head gently. "I\'ll tell you more about it once I meet with the Shadow Wolves."
"Aren\'t they on the opposing side, Broken?"
Broken had actually discussed this with Elincia, and they had confirmed that what he planned wouldn\'t be seen as a betrayal. He was planning a private business deal with a specific person from the Shadow Wolves-Marlene, the Demon Beast Master.
"I\'ve confirmed everything with Elincia. I think it will be alright," he reassured her.
A few minutes later, Polly slowed her pace as they passed by the miners, who were still hard at
work.
"My Lord," they greeted him warmly, "we\'re glad to see you safe."
"Did you find anything extraordinary in the cave?"
"Where did that rat-boy go, My Lord?"
Broken nodded slowly. "We discovered a spot filled with valuable minerals. Soon, you\'ll all be helping to mine that area. Danko is safe; he\'s with the others. Thank you for your hard work."
With that, he promptly left the miners to resume their tasks.
The miners exclaimed in awe, "Wait, you mean a place with a lot of valuable minerals?"
"Why hasn\'t anyone ever found that place before?" one of them asked.
"I don\'t know," another replied thoughtfully. "But it seems that the rat-boy is quite an unusual character; he prefers to live in caves and apparently uncovered something the Baron
was searching for."
"I think we might have said too much to that rat-boy."
"Should we apologize to him then?"

Leon stepped out of his capsule device and immediately felt a level of comfort that was unlike anything he\'d ever experienced before. The Northstar brand capsule device he used seemed to replenish his physical energy and stamina; plus, it featured controls for the user\'s physical condition and even provided a light form of therapy that made a noticeable difference over
time.
This capsule device is definitely more comfortable for long sessions, he thought to himself. "I think I could survive an entire month in this capsule!"
Leon then stepped off the bus and noticed two pairs of eyes fixed on him.
"Do you have any interesting stories to tell us, Leon?" Freya asked.
"Yes! It\'s about the Moon Goddess," he replied with a smile, joining them and sitting down.
"It seems like every time you log on, you\'re off doing something extraordinary," Freya responded, clearly excited.
"You mentioned the Moon Goddess, right?!" Lily chimed in with enthusiasm. "Do you have any new information about her? I want to know more."
Leon then began to recount all of his adventures during his brief login on Immortal Legacy, his audience hanging on his every word.Nôv(el)B\\\\jnn
