Chapter 302: Chapter 302 - Water Elemental Avatar

Chapter 302: - Water Elemental Avatar

[The Elemental Labyrinths: Each individual has the opportunity to attempt the Trial only once a month. If they fail, they must wait 30 days for the cooldown period to end before trying again.]

[Anyone can attempt a challenge from any door, and once they succeed, they will no longer be able to do the challenge from another door. The grade of the reward they obtain will depend on their performance in the trial. However, if they fail the challenge three times, then all doors will be closed to them permanently.]

[It is recommended to carry out a trial that matches your elemental affinity to increase the chance of success.]

Broken nodded slowly as he absorbed the rules of the challenge.

"It seems that this Trial Domain has more lenient rules than the Fate Domain I encountered before," he murmured to himself. "I hope I don\'t have to meet someone like King Elandorr again inside," he added, almost a whisper.

He had a high affinity with the basic elements of Earth and Water, and a low affinity with the combination element of Wood. Following the system\'s advice, the best choices for him were Earth or Water. However, since he had no inkling of what awaited him inside either, he could only choose randomly based on what he thought might be easier.

Drowning in water or being crushed by earth? he pondered. I suppose the former still seems more humane.

After a moment\'s hesitation, he made up his mind. "Yes, I\'ll simply choose Water. I\'m not as analytical as Maylock."

With a determined stride, Broken stepped towards the water gate, ready to confront whatever trials awaited him.

Upon entering, his vision filled with the sight of a grand, sprawling chamber with towering stone walls. The light, it seemed, was provided by numerous streams of water running down the walls, casting a beautiful, shimmering glow over the entire room.

Broken inhaled the clear, crisp scent of water and listened to the gentle rippling sounds echoing through the space. The light reflected off the glistening water droplets, creating a breathtakingly beautiful scene. The air was thick with moisture, and he could feel it settling on his skin with each breath.

"And what kind of trial have they prepared for me now? Fighting monsters or puzzles?" he wondered aloud. A grin spread across his face as he remembered the skill he had that could solve puzzles with ease.

"I guess if it\'s a puzzle, this will be a walk in the park," he said, grinning.

His gaze traveled across the wet and mossy rocky floor, which seemed to stretch out endlessly. The floor consisted of several interconnected square tiles, damp and slippery with patches of green moss growing between them.

He paused for a moment, contemplating his next move. For some reason, he felt there was something odd about this place. Deciding to be cautious, he opted to check his latest status first.

Broken observed his overall stats, knowing he had enough stat points to spend on Strength, ensuring he wouldn\'t experience a reduction in movement speed due to the weight of his equipment. He carefully considered how to allocate his stat points to maximize his performance in the trial.

He needed a lot of Strength, so he would invest the bulk of his points there. However, he also knew that his Constitution was somewhat lacking, so he needed to balance his spending between the two. Additionally, he realized the importance of Intelligence since he dealt elemental damage with his spears. Thus, he also needed to allocate some points to Intelligence as well.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Before finalizing his decision, Broken took out his Wavebreaker Spear and realized just how heavy it was-1580 weight units! Damn! This was truly burdensome.

Forced by the situation, he decided to invest every stat point he had into Strength. He only hoped that after this, he would be able to focus more on growing his other stats rather than just Strength.

Broken was quite astonished as he looked at his Strength stat, which had now soared to an impressive 953! The Strength stat was by far the highest, while his other stats lagged behind. This remarkable boost was also thanks to his +6 Wavebreaker Spear, which significantly contributed to his overall Strength, Constitution, and Stamina.

He was now ready to fight, prepared to face any challenge awaiting him. But as he looked at the tiles stretching out before him, he felt a twinge of doubt and suspicion. Something about the floor seemed off.

To address his concerns, he decided to conduct a little test. Raising his Wavebreaker Spear into the air, he muttered, "Boar\'s Flood!"

[Boar\'s Flood (Active Skill)]

As the wild energy vortex began to coil around the spear\'s tip, its intensity surged until it coalesced. A wave of power, like a waterfall, cascaded to the floor, spreading across the cavern in a mesmerizing, undulating dance.

Abruptly, from that water, a boar took shape, towering nearly twice as high as him. This formidable beast was crafted from shimmering, swirling water, and its roar reverberated

throughout the chamber.

All at once, a series of alerts flashed in Broken\'s vision.

[You have triggered the trap, and a water avatar has been summoned!]

The instant the Boar\'s hoof touched the ground, a whirlpool erupted, morphing into a mermaid-like figure made entirely of water, each holding a trident. As they moved forward, more of these aqueous phantoms manifested in a steady stream.

"Just as I thought, this place is riddled with traps!"

Dozens of aquatic monsters, each wielding a trident, charged swiftly across the chamber. They transformed the space into a chaotic torrent of surging and swirling water. Surrounded by an aura of raw power and strength, the Water Boar filled the cave with an explosive intensity, the energy of water pulsating throughout. The monsters moved with alarming speed and agility, creating a tempestuous whirl of water that enveloped them in

chaos.

Closing his eyes momentarily to shield them from the deluge, he watched through the torrent as the Water Wild Boar was quickly swallowed by the horde of aquatic creatures.

Then, their attention snapped to him.

"How dare you come to this place?" one of the aquatic horrors boomed, fixing its eerie gaze

on Broken.

"Damn! Do I have to fight all of them?"
