Catfish’s great hammer slipped from her hand, falling feebly and sinking deep into the ocean of yellow spring. As it fell, several hapless Yakshas happened to be standing in its way. They howled tragically as the hammer smashed them into meat pulp and brought them down together with it.

A foggy, gray light shone out of her eyes, and in it showed a gray tiger crouched on a hilltop, yawning lazily. A few moments later, the light flickered, and the tiger was now caught by a great black eagle into the sky. As it soared, the eagle buried its hard, sharp beak into the crown of the tiger’s head, and then wrenched it up.

Catfish grunted as several deep cuts appeared across her back, with blood flowing out of them constantly. The wounds looked just like those scratched by fierce birds such as eagles and vultures. Soon afterward, her scalp suddenly cracked open with a long gash, and a large part of it was almost lifted up from her skull. Blood poured down her face, covering her in purple and gold.

In the next instant, the image in the gray light changed again. A python coiled on a treetop appeared in the light. It was facing the sky, smugly sucking and spitting a rice-sized, green inner core. A faint light swirled about the core, and a deadly venom was causing the surrounding trees to wither rapidly. All of a sudden, a clump of thunder cloud appeared in the sky, and then dozens of fine bolts of lightning came smashing down, blowing the python’s inner core to shreds and charring half of its body.

Catfish grunted once more as a stream of purple-gold blood spouted from her mouth. Suddenly, flashes of lightning rushed out of her upper body, charring her skin and turning it to coke. Luckily, the power of the lightning was not too great; and as her resistance toward all kinds of thunder magic was very strong now, her skin had only turned to coke while her body did not suffer much.

But, the gray light flickered again, and this time, it was a single-horned dragon that appeared within the light. The black dragon was bound by dozens of golden chains to an ancient-looking stone platform besmeared with blood, the surface of which was carved with numerous aquatic creatures. A dozens of feet tall golden-armored divine figure stood beside the platform, which hacked the dragon’s head off with a heavy, sharp axe.

In the gray light the, dragon’s head flew up and blood sprayed in all directions, but in reality, a clear line of blood also appeared around Catfish’s neck. A great mass of blood spewed out of the line in a thin curtain, filling the air with a rustling sound like the wind blowing through the trees. If the cut, half an inch deep and circled around her neck, went any deeper, her neck bone would have been cut in half, which would have been a fatal injury.

This was the power of the Infinite Transmigration Formation.

Using the mutated, heresy Buddhist energy as the trigger to muster the power of the Six Paths of Reincarnation, it forcibly traced back the most tragic death scenes of the person who was being trapped in the formation and transported the injuries to the person in the present day. This was truly a heaven-defying method that was intolerable by the Heavenly Dao. As the Infinite Transmigration Formation rotated, the evil karma of K?itigarbha and his companion grew stronger.

But, K?itigarbha paid it no heed. As the saying went, ‘when you are covered with lice, you don’t itch’. Since they had accumulated so much evil karma, adding a little bit more did not make any difference. As long as they did not leave the Nether World, with the Six Paths of Reincarnation protecting them, even the Heavenly Dao could do nothing to them. In the Nether World, relying on the power of the Six Paths of Reincarnation, K?itigarbha and his companions were fearless.

Even today’s Lord Buddha, Amitabha, had suffered several losses in this Infinite Transmigration Formation. K?itigarbha was confident that he could kill Wu Qi and company this time.

As the swords, condensed from the fire of retribution, were less than three feet away from Wu Qi’s neck, K?itigarbha looked triumphantly at the seriously injured Catfish, and then at the tragic scenes of death that kept appearing in the gray light. Catfish’s body was covered with wounds now, many of which almost pierced her and tore her to pieces.

“So much for Primordial experts!” Bodhisattva K?itigarbha roared with laughter. How could the mere existences of the Dao Reasoning realm resist the power of the Six Paths of Reincarnation? It was the power of the Heavenly Dao, the Laws of Heaven and Earth! What could three low-ranking Primordial experts do when even Amitabha, a first-tier Primordial expert, could not resist its power?

While laughing, K?itigarbha opened his dharma eyes and looked curiously at the gray light that shone from Ao Buzun’s eyes. He wanted to know what strange creatures this man had been in his previous lives, and how he would be swallowed alive by the formation.

With this glance, K?itigarbha’s body trembled and he nearly threw away his swords.

There was nothing but chaos in the gray light that shone from Ao Buzun’s eyes. In that boundless world of chaos, a black dragon, hundreds of millions of miles long and too colossal to describe, was lying atop the body of a huge creature, who threw back its head in a furious roar, happily carrying out that business of reproduction. The huge creature, who was being raped, looked like a beautiful woman in general, but had six golden wings on its back. A gentle golden light was being released from the wings, creating a huge, bright, and golden space in that world of chaos.

The black dragon had eighteen pairs of horns and nine pairs of claws, each with nine talons. He wagged his head while tightly grasping the woman’s hands and feet, and coiling his long body around her, pressing her firmly in the void. He was sprinting wantonly on her, causing the surrounding void to tremble. The woman’s eyes grew larger and larger, until she finally gritted her teeth. A beam of strong golden light shot out of her forehead, and in the next instant, her whole body exploded to pieces.

Caught off guard, the black dragon was also blown to pieces by the self-explosion of the woman. With the explosion, Ao Buzun’s skin cracked open, and his whole body was covered in blood. Fresh blood poured out all over him, and he howled in pain.

K?itigarbha was so shocked that he could not care to kill Wu Qi now. Staring at the scene that burst out of Ao Buzun’s eyes, he cried out, “This fella is actually the incarnation of the Ancestral Dragon born in the Primal Chaos? Heaven! This fella is the ancestor to all the dragons in the universe!” Even with his formidable cultivation base, he was so frightened that he shouted ‘Heaven!’, which showed how horrifying the identity of this Ancestral Dragon was.

The light shone from Ao Buzun’s eyes flickered, and in the next moment, a fat, strong black dragon appeared in it. This black dragon had four claws, each with nine talons. Judging by its look, it was the direct descendant of the divine dragon’s branch, who held the supreme position in today’s dragon clan. Stealthily, it sneaked to the side of a hot spring and then shrank itself to a little mudfish.

Soon afterward, a beautiful silver-haired woman came to this hot spring, accompanied by many deities and divine beasts. After her guards carefully inspected every corner around the pool, the woman chased them away, removed her clothes, and walked into the water with a smile on her face.

It was at this moment that the black dragon hiding in the pool leaped out of the water, laughing wildly as it threw itself onto the woman. A similar scene played out once more. The black dragon pressed itself tightly atop the woman’s body while frantically wagging its lower body. The woman screamed, and countless deities and divine beasts immediately rushed over in a panic.

The scene following immediately showed the black dragon bound to a green metal platform. An old man in a white emperor’s robe gnashed his teeth and chopped the black dragon into pieces with a bone knife, then forged a storage ring out of its spine and sealed its soul in the ring.

Countless tiny arrows of blood shot out of Ao Buzun’s body as his muscles cracked and healed. A terrible, heart-wrenching pressure slowly spread from his body, and his once cloudy, dull eyes suddenly gleamed with bright light.

A mournful dragon roar rang out as Ao Buzun jumped over and punched K?itigarbha, who was clearly stunned, in the chest and sent him flying tens of thousands of miles away. Laughing wildly, he said, “I knew I was of noble blood, but I never dreamt that I am actually the incarnation of the Ancestral Dragon! Hahahaha! So apparently, all of today’s little mudfishes are my descendants? Heck, those miserable elders of the dragon clan are going to address me as their Patriarch! Sādhu! Sādhu! Bald donkeys, as a token of appreciation, I will kill you all today!”

Ao Buzun’s skin grew back quickly, and dark scales kept popping out from under his skin. With his lustful eyes, he gave the 800 Bodhisattvas in the surroundings a quick glance, then suddenly roared in anger, “Why are you all male Bodhisattvas? Not even a single female Bodhisattva? Are you even human? Not even a single female Bodhisattva? How am I supposed to celebrate the restoration of memories from my previous lives? You...Hey, quickly transform yourself and give me a few female Bodhisattvas!”

The faces of all the Bodhisattvas turned blue with rage while K?itigarbha coughed up a mouthful of blood and screamed at the top of his lungs, “Rotate the formation to its top speed and kill this demon dragon! Damnit, how could he be the incarnation of the Ancestral Dragon? How is this even possible?”

Just when Ao Buzun was roaring furiously and K?itigarbha was screaming, something unexpected was happening to Wu Qi.

Amidst the foggy, gray curtain of light, an old man, dressed in a blue Daoist robe, was slowly emerging, sitting cross-legged in the midst of chaos. The old man suddenly rose to his feet and took a step forward, reaching a land that was still in its primal form in the next moment. He walked slowly on the primeval land, picking all kinds of rare and precious innate spirit herbs. One day, as he was passing a mountain, he happened to bump into a little white mouse with two wings on its back, who was stealing a spirit herb but was caught by a red viper.

The old man killed the viper with a wave of his hand, then smilingly took out a spirit pill and fed it to the white mouse. The wound of the witless mouse healed instantly, and with the help of this pill, it developed a glimmer of wisdom in the future.

Immediately after that, the light flickered once more, and the old man was now fighting dozens of hazy figures in front of an extraordinarily magnificent palace. Those figures waved their hands at the same time and caused the void to collapse with a boom. The old man was blown to nothingness, perishing in both his flesh and soul. Only a tiny speck of his soul managed to enter the transmigration, plunging into the endless reincarnation.

Seeing this, K?itigarbha was so angry that he coughed up a mouthful of blood and slapped himself in the face.

Wu Qi closed his cloudy, spiritless eyes; when he opened them again, there was already a very strange light in them. He smiled and nodded to K?itigarbha. “Thank you for waking up the memories of my past life.”

After pondering for a while, Wu Qi shook his head and said, “Lord Yuan Ling? This name sounds like a utility man in a theatrical show...No wonder I was killed by a group of men.”

As he laughed, a vast, unfathomable primal aura similar to that of Ao Buzun gradually spread from his body.
